Which events can be deleted
Delete is for events where nothing has happened yet, such as drafts, tests and duplicates. Only an event owner can delete an event, and only while it is in planning or live. If payments, signed contracts, sent announcements, guest responses, check-ins, approval decisions or a finalized report already exist, RunCue lists them and offers Archive event instead. Completed and archived events are always archived, not deleted.
Undo straight away
After you choose Delete event, the event moves to Recently deleted and a message offers Undo. Choose it to bring the event back immediately.
Restore from Recently deleted
- Open Events.
- Open the Event page actions menu (⋯) and choose Recently deleted.
- Find the event. Each one shows when it was deleted and how many days are left before it is deleted permanently.
- Choose Restore.
Restoring brings back everything in the event, including tasks, guests, vendors, budget, seating, files and the Run of Show. Guest RSVP links and shared links work again. An owner of the event when it was deleted, or a workspace owner or admin, can restore it. If your plan has no room for another active event, archive or delete one first.
Delete permanently
In Recently deleted, choose Delete permanently next to the event, type the event name and choose Delete permanently. The event and its files are removed at once and cannot be recovered. Events left in Recently deleted are deleted permanently 30 days after they were deleted.
