Connect RunCue to the tools you already use.

Sync with Google and Outlook calendars, post updates to Slack channels, subscribe to an ICS feed, move data in and out with CSV, or, on Business, connect your own systems with API tokens and webhooks.

How data moves

Diagram: RunCue connects both ways with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and CSV files, and sends data out through an ICS feed and webhooks, and lets your own systems read and update events, tasks and guests with API tokens.

Automation

Outbound webhooks

Notifies your own systems when things change in RunCue, such as a completed task, a submitted form or an accepted proposal.

Setup: A workspace administrator adds the endpoint, secret and subscribed event types.

Plan: Business, with workspace integration permissions.

API

API tokens

Lets your own systems and automation tools read events, tasks, guests and vendors, create and update tasks and guests, and subscribe to RunCue events through the RunCue API. Tokens expire and can be revoked at any time.

Setup: A permitted workspace administrator names a token, chooses read-only or read and write access and when it expires, then stores the one-time secret.

Plan: Business, with workspace integration permissions.

Calendar

Google Calendar

Shows the calendars you choose alongside your RunCue schedule, warns you when you are busy during an event you are assigned to, and publishes RunCue events to your main calendar or a separate "RunCue events" calendar. Drafts show as tentative. Edits made in your calendar do not change RunCue.

Setup: Each person can connect their own calendar from Integrations, and a workspace admin can connect one shared calendar for the workspace. Publishing asks for separate permission. You are notified if a connection stops working.

Plan: Personal calendars on Personal, Team and Business, and during the free trial. A shared workspace calendar on Team and Business.

Messaging

Slack

Posts the RunCue activity you choose, such as tasks, approvals, event day issues and RSVPs, to the Slack channels you pick.

Setup: A workspace admin connects Slack from Integrations, then chooses a channel and the activity it receives. For a private channel, invite the RunCue app in Slack first.

Plan: Team and Business.

Import and export

Calendar

ICS calendar export

Exports RunCue dates for use in external calendar applications.

Setup: Export or subscribe from the RunCue calendar workflow, then add the feed to the target calendar.

Plan: Published plans with calendar export.

Data movement

CSV import and export

Imports supported event records through a mapping and validation flow and exports supported tables.

Setup: Prepare a CSV, map columns, review validation results, then confirm the import.

Plan: Personal, Team and Business for CSV exports. Imports depend on record type, plan limits and workspace permissions.
