Invite people and manage their access
Give each person the workspace and event access they actually need.
Before inviting
You need invitation permission and available internal seats. The seat count includes unique internal operators and reserved invitations; event-only people can count too. External portal viewers are different from internal members.
Send the invitation
- Open People & access and choose Invite member.
- Enter the Delivery email and optional Invitation name. The invitation name does not change an existing account profile.
- Choose the Workspace role. Use Add assignment to choose an event and its role; workspace membership alone does not assign event access.
- Choose Review invitation. Check the address, role, event assignments, expiry and seat reservation.
- Choose Send invitation, then check Pending invitations. The seat is reserved; access remains pending until acceptance.
Accept an invitation
Open the invitation link and sign in or create your RunCue account. The delivery email can differ from the account you use to accept. Review the account identity, workspace and role shown in Join workspace before confirming. Choose Not now if the invitation is not for you. Joining adds the workspace to your account without replacing your existing workspaces. Ask the inviter for a new link if the invitation has expired or been revoked.
Change or remove access
Use Manage access to review an existing member’s role. Use Remove workspace access only after checking the person’s responsibilities. Former members remain in workspace history. Removing access is not the same as deleting their historical contributions.
Ownership and invitations
Use Transfer ownership where offered before removing an owner or closing an account that owns shared work. Pending invitations can be resent or revoked. A copied invitation link still belongs to its intended recipient; it is not a general public signup link.
